Egg on Your Face is Good!

We know that natural preferably organic foods, such as organic eggs, are your best medicine for health. Did you also know that they are also the best ‘tonic’ for healthy, glowing skin?

Indeed, instead of expensive chemical filled toxins, look in your kitchen for more affordable, effective skin treatments many of which have been used for centuries. Here are some simple options which can benefit both men and women

Organic Raw Eggs

An organic egg white mask works wonders for cleansing exfoliating and tightening pores, especially if your skin is a little greasy

In contrast, the nutrient dense organic egg yolk mask is particularly good for dry or sensitive skin as it helps to restore the skin`s natural ability to heal and protect itself, and feeds, moisturizes and soothes the skin.

If you have normal skin, combine the whites and yolks for a super nutrient boost.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Rich in antioxidants, extra virgin olive oil helps to promote a smooth, radiant complexion and to maintain skin elasticity. It also works well as a cleanser: massage a half teaspoon into your skin for a few minutes and then gently wash your face off with warm water and a clean wash cloth.

Raw Honey

Raw honey has long been prized for its healing properties. When used as a mask, it helps to cleanse and tone the skin, and also moisturizes if mixed with avocado and a little olive oil.

For acne prone skin, mix ground cinnamon with raw honey into a mask. Raw honey can also be used with raw sugar as a gentle scrub for glowing skin.

Organic Lemon Juice

Diluted lemon juice is known to be an effective toner for acne-prone skin. It may help with lightening red marks and preventing breakouts by gently exfoliating the skin.

Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)

Raw, unfiltered ACV can be diluted with green tea and used as a toner for all types of skin. Undiluted ACV can also be dabbed on pimples as a spot treatment.

Raw Sugar

You're told every day not to put sugar in your body, but there`s nothing wrong with using it on your body! Indeed, organic sugar makes an excellent body scrub and polish. Mix with a hint of extra virgin olive or jojoba oil if your skin is dry.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal soothes irritation and calms sensitive skin. Using a coffee grinder or food processor, grind organic oats into a fine powder and use with a little pure water and lemon juice to exfoliate the skin. Combine 1 tbsp of oatmeal with Greek yoghurt and a drop of honey for a soothing face mask.
