More evidence that eating berries is good for you
This is something that most of us can agree on. Berries have long been associated with reduced inflammation and many other health benefits. Now, a study in Finland has found that daily consumption of a range of berries resulted in a 23% reduction in levels of an enzyme that is well-known as a marker of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).
This disease is on the rise…affecting millions of people worldwide and seems to be the precursor for various health conditions…all linked to obesity.
The antioxidants found in the berries used in the study share similar properties to the natural ingredients in our Total Balance Premium range. For example, anthocyanidin is found in the Bilberry extract we use across the Total Balance Premium range, including Total Balance Children’s and Total Balance Unisex.
