Uses of Chaga
Chaga has been used for more than five centuries as a natural treatment for a variety of health conditions. In most cases, it is ground into a fine powder and consumed as a tea. Chaga contains over 200 phytonutrients, B complex vitamins, minerals, fiber and protein. It is a general health elixir, promoting overall vitality and immunity. Historically, Chaga has been used to treat various forms of cancer. It contains betulin and betulinic acid, both of which are being investigated for their possible anti-cancer qualities.
Encourage age defying processes
Chaga contains the antioxidant superoxide dismutase (SOD), which provides a powerful defense against superoxide (a free radical). By neutralizing the destructive effects of superoxide throughout the body, Chaga is believed to slow the aging process and resist the onset of degenerative conditions.
