The Path From Stress to Serenity

Dr. Amanda Wiggins, PhD, explains how you can find your new happy place with Serene Saffron.

“Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen increasing rates of stress, depression and problems with sleep. It’s having a real impact on lives and customers were reaching out to us for a natural solution that would help.”

As a PhD in neurology and Chief Research Scientist at Xtend-Life, Amanda was ideally placed to work with Warren to find a solution.

The combination of her research experience and the 20 years+ of Xtend-Life’s experience in manufacturing complex and sophisticated supplements facilities at Xtend-Life meant it was possible to develop a supplement that really worked and was supported by strong science.

“We believe Serene Saffron can get to the root of stress and feeling overwhelmed by helping you feel calm, but focused enough and energised enough to get through a day’s work. Think of it as a better way to boost your mood and find your happy place and a sense of wellbeing. “

What can I Expect with Serene Saffron?

Each of the ingredients in Serene Saffron works in a different way to help your body combat feelings of stress, feelings of being overwhelmed and low mood. Over time, you can expect an improved sense of wellbeing.

That said, it’s important to understand that no supplement is going to make you superhuman.

Sadly, we’re living in a time where, for many people, stress and anxiety are the new normal, so the goal for many people is to get back to the “old normal” – back to the real you.

And in a time of stress, being normal - whether it’s a skip in your step, smiling more or just looking forward to getting out and seeing people again – sometimes needs a little help.

Week 1

The special form of saffron that we have selected in Serene Saffron has been clinically proven to start improving your mood in as little as 1 week.

At the same time, the L-Theanine gets to work immediately to deliver a feeling of relaxed alertness meaning you can concentrate for longer without the jittery effects of caffeine.

Week 2

After about 2 weeks, you should start feeling the effects of the special KSM-66 form of Ashwagandha with lower levels of stress and anxiety due to a reduction in the stress hormone… cortisol.

The saffron continues to improve mood.

Continue taking Serene Saffronas part ofyour daily routine.

Long Term

After a month of taking the ingredients in Serene Saffron each day, you should start to feel an improved quality of life and well being. Studies show the effects of saffron continue to build with improved mood flowing through to a better sense of wellbeing which leads on to other health benefits. Ashwagandha becomes more effective at relieving stress over time, while L-Theanine brings relaxed alertness during the day. Together the ingredients combine to deliver more restful sleep.

Break the Stress Cycle Naturally

When Warren Matthews saw the increasing number of people looking for relief from stress and feeling overwhelmed, he knew it was a challenge he couldn't refuse. After all, as the founder of Xtend-Life and a wellbeing health specialist who has helped hundreds of thousands of people solve their health over the last twenty years, he was in a unique position to help.

My vision for Xtend-Life was as a unique company that would develop and manufacture solutions for people looking to find a better way to improve their health.

When I saw the changes in people I knew, people who had previously been outgoing, sociable, being increasingly isolated, I wanted to reach out and help.

I worked with our team to produce a formula that will support people in decreasing stress and improving mood and aims to deliver all the healthy side benefits that an improved sense of wellbeing can provide.

We had two main aims - make it natural, and find the most effective ingredients.

With Serene Saffron, I believe we've done this.

Warren Matthews, Aged 74
Founder of Xtend-Life

Key Ingredients

There are seven ingredients in Serene Saffron four of which are co-factors to support the efficacy of the three main ingredients. Serene Saffron brings together a rich history using natural remedies dating back thousands of years across Asian and Persian cultures. Two of these ingredients have had their efficacy enhanced through modern scientific extraction processes. As with all Xtend-Life products we look at ways to also synergistically combine the best ingredients to multiply their effect. It is often possible to make 1 + 1= 3. This is what we believe we have achieved with the strategic combination of these key ingredients.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha has been traditionally known for centuries to help reduce stress, anxiety, cortisol levels and stress-related food cravings.

We selected a special patented form of Ashwagandha referred to as KSM-66, which is extracted from the root, not the leaves which are less potent. This is the highest concentration full-spectrum extract that we could source and has been validated by independent trials.

Saffron

Saffron is an ancient traditional anti-stress herb that has been clinically proven to show a 60% reduction in the feeling of being stressed or nervous often.

We use a special patented extract called Safr’Inside from the south of France. It only uses one part of the saffron flower… the redder part of saffron stigmas which is the richest in the active compound (Safromotivines). This is the part that gives saffron its special properties.

L-Theanine

L-Theanine has been taken for thousands of years to improve concentration, focus and relaxation.

It does this by boosting levels of brain serotonin (responsible for mood and happiness) and dopamine (responsible for reward and motivation). The result is to help increase alertness and performance under stress.

The Cycle of Stress and Anxiety

Stress and low mood feed on each other, creating a cycle that can spiral out of control. Add to this the side effects of stress and low mood and the effect is multiplied. Anxiety and stress can even cause you to become physically ill – you tend to lose sleep and have digestion problems (the energy usually used for your gut is instead sent to manage the higher levels of cortisol in your blood).

The last two years have seen an endless news cycle of doom and gloom which has helped feed an increasing spiral of mental health distress. Add in the political, environmental and technological changes, and the new world of regulations that have people reporting feeling increasing amounts of social isolation, and stress and anxiety has become a normal part of modern life.

But though it’s become more normal, that doesn’t mean it’s easy to deal with. And for many people, it’s only getting worse.

Tips for Mental Health

There is no single cure for feelings of stress, being overwhelmed and low mood. As with most things related to health, the best cure is to take a broad look across your physical, mental, emotional and dietary health. So while supplements can certainly help, here are some easy tips to improve your mental well being.

Stay connected – reach out to friends or family to share what you’re thinking and feeling, and to stay in touch with what they’re doing. Maybe even combine with a walk or other exercise.

Exercise – there are proven benefits to exercise from heart health to mental health. Getting outside can get you vitamin D from the sun and it can even help with sleep.

Sleep – our brain needs to rest, get into regular sleep patterns and give yourself time to wind down before you go to sleep, avoid caffeine and screens at the end of the day.
